The Railyard Obstacle Course System is awesome in its simplicity.

A few basic components that can be configured in countless ways.

Set-Up is simple and easy. One instructor can handle set-up solo, but with two a complete Obstacle Course can be ready to go in ten minutes.

Variations of height, length, angle and more make it adaptable to all fitness levels.

Even the more challenging arrangements are close to the ground, so student confidence is easy to gain, and injuries tend to be rare and minor.

The exercises (called Activities) take place on, over, under, and around the Railyard Obstacle Course and use the equipment in many different ways.

Virtually all of the activities are designed to mimic the jumping, hopping, crawling, sliding, skipping, bending, crouching, balancing and stretching that are already familiar to the youth participants.

By teaching the students to pay attention to form, speed, direction and other factors, the activities can also provide benefits not typically gained from just "playing."

Over time, most regular participants will see gains in muscular & cardio strength and endurance, improved flexibility, added agility, better balance and coordination, finer depth perception, and more & more confidence.

No more "athletes vs nerds"! Everyone gets to play at their own level, learn at their own speed, and see results in their own time. But every participant WILL see results over time... from feeling better, to looking better, to DOING better.

Physiological benefits useful in the here and now, and neurological benefits that last a lifetime.

Not your parents’ gym class, but real physical fitness activities for ages 5 and up that improve body, directional, and spatial awareness, increase proprioceptive capabilities and hand-eye coordination, train balance, encourage flexibility, and boost confidence.

The Railyard Conditioning Course can be found in Elementary, Middle and High Schools across the country. Experts agree that the best exercise for children is bio-motor activity that develops body awareness, provides a functional workout, and is an enjoyable and achievable experience that will build confidence. Exercise on the Railyard offers all that - and more.
